Cordia Visits the Morton Arboretum

August 15, 2025 By Cordia

Painted DeerWe enjoyed another wonderful day at The Morton Arboretum, exploring the Vivid Creatures Exhibit. These five giant, colorful sculptures are as tall as trees. They are modeled after animals native to Illinois, including: a white-tailed deer, a brittle button snail, a fox squirrel, a blue dasher dragonfly, and a sandhill crane. After all that exploring, we enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch beneath the shade of the trees.
